Context
The previous tool charged per seat, could not express the firm's roles, and exported data the BI team had to clean by hand.

Key decisions
Migrate, then price
Imported the full history from the old tool and priced it against real rates, flagging what could not be matched instead of guessing.
Outcome
The firm stopped paying per seat and payroll reads from a source it controls.
